Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Friday read out extracts from the previous budget instead of the 2023-24 budget. As soon as the chief minister made the first two announcements that appeared in the 2022-23 budget, the opposition started creating ruckus and stormed the well of the House.
Speaker CP Joshi asked them to maintain order, but the opposition continued its agitation, leading to the adjournment of the House for half an hour.
After the adjournment, the BJP MLAs staged a sit-in in the well of the House.
